About Me

My name is Amy Bertrand and I'm pumped about teaching 1st grade at Brantner. I've been teaching since 2005. In those years I've taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, K-6 technology and library, and I've been an intervention resource teacher.

I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Spanish. Then, I earned my Master's Degree in teaching from Grand Canyon University. For as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. What a thrilling feeling to be invited to teach and learn at such an amazing school!

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy gardening, music, cooking, technology, and time with family. I am excited to get to know you and your family better during this school year. Thanks for visiting our class blog!
